Home Focus specialises in contemporary furniture and accessories which are available to buy online, over the phone or at our suppliers showrooms in Cape Town and Johannesburg. The complete Home Focus range of products are available to buy online 24 hours a day and 7 days a week throughout the year. This website has been designed to easily guide you through our collections using a simple form of navigation that we hope you will find quick and convenient.

Delivery is FREE to all our customers who live in South Africa. If you require a delivery outside of South Africa please contact the showroom for a quotation. Delivery charges outside South Africa are based on weight, size, method of transport and destination.

Payment methods
We accept all major credit cards; Diners, American Express, MasterCard and Visa. After you send your order you will receive a copy by email, please print or keep this copy for your own records. This does not mean we have accepted your order. Once your credit has been approved, the receiving address has been verified, and the item has been located, your order will be accepted and the item shipped. All prices shown are in R (Rands) and are inclusive of SA VAT at 14%. If you would prefer to pay by cheque, cash or bank transfer, please contact us at the showroom as we can only accept your order by telephone or mail or by prior arrangement.

Your order
Many of our products are held in stock in our warehouses in which case they are ready for dispatch. If a product is ordered from a supplier or if you have specific requirements, an order may take longer before it is in stock. Delivery times for products ordered from suppliers vary but they are stated with each product on the web site. Sometimes our suppliers will complete an order in less time so if you require your item as a matter of urgency, please let us know and we will make the relevant enquiries. Once your order is in stock, we aim to dispatch within 14 days but please allow 28 days for delivery.

Your delivery
Once your order is ready for dispatch, our delivery team will contact you with a delivery date. The delivery team operates Monday to Friday 8am-8pm. Once a delivery date has been set, please ensure that someone will be there to receive the goods. If required, our delivery crew will call you en route to give you an estimated time of arrival. Please ensure that we have your correct contact details. All furniture will be delivered to the room of your choice, unpacked and assembled. The packaging will be removed. Focus will not undertake fixing any items to walls or ceilings. If you choose to assemble the furniture yourself after delivery, you will be required to state this on the Proof of Delivery document. Please inspect the goods thoroughly before accepting delivery and providing a signature for receipt. If there is any damage or any missing items, please inform the showroom immediately.

Returns policy
We hope that you will be happy with your purchases. Should you wish to return anything to us, our returns policy is set out below. If we make a mistake with your order, or if the goods received are in some way faulty, we have a no questions asked returns policy. Simply return the item and we will replace it with the correct one. We will pay your return delivery costs. Returns should be made within a reasonable time (usually 28 days) and in original, undamaged packaging. If you change your mind for any other reason, we are happy to exchange items, refund or credit your account, provided the goods are returned to us within 7 working days of their receipt, in the original packaging and in a saleable condition. Please return items to: Home Focus, 68 Bree St, Cape Town, 8001. We regret, however, that in this case we cannot refund return postage costs. We are not responsible for return postage or packages that do not reach us.. If you require, we can collect the goods at a cost of R600 within South Africa only. Regrettably, self assembly furniture cannot be returned once assembly is part or fully completed, unless the item is deemed faulty. Divans, duvets, pillow products and mattresses are non-returnable once unwrapped, unless they are faulty. This is for reasons of health and hygiene. Your statutory rights are not affected. Please allow us at least 2 weeks to process your refund once we have received your goods. The refund will be credited to the payment card account.

Online security
All credit card transactions are performed on our site by PayGate. PayGate provides secure online credit card and debit card payment solutions for thousands of online and mail order businesses across South Africa. They have grown to become one of the largest independent Payment Service Provider in the country because they make sure that your transaction details are kept secure throughout the transaction process. On placing an order at our checkout, Our secure server safely encrypts all of your details making it impossible for any of your personal data to be transmitted from your computer and be intercepted by others. PayGate will then take your credit/debit card details and validate them. You will then leave the secure section and be returned back to our website to finish the transaction.
